How hot does the exterior get after toasting? null

It gets pretty hot, but as long as you are careful and use oven mitts, you will be fine.

Really HOT. Be careful when touching even the sides of this thing.

The exterior of the Breville® - BOV450XL - Mini Smart Oven® does get quite warm after use, even on the toast setting.
