- Answer I've baked bread and actually bought this for my restaurant for doing test pies so I didn't have to keep using our big commercial oven. Other than the height it works great. If your doing a high rising bread I wouldn't advise it.

- Answer Yes, when cooking foods that have a lot of moisture in them, the Breville® BOV900 Smart Oven® Air will ventilate steam from around the door which can cause the control LCD screen to fog up.

- Answer All Breville® Smart Ovens® including the BOV900 Smart Oven® Air, do come with a crumb tray included. The baking pan can also be placed on the bottom rack when air frying to prevent drips from coming into contact with the elements.

QuestionCan this oven be "built in" under counter in an open cabinet or is it too hot?

- Answer The top of this oven should remain unobstructed and should not be installed this way. They do advertise that you can by a wood cutting board that can sit on top of it as a "warming" board, but I would still not recommend installing this under a counter or cabinet for safety reasons.

- Answer I would not worry about heat below the oven. Grills are at the top and most the heat rises up from there. I haven't noticed any significant heating below the oven.

- Answer It does not get too hot for Formica countertops. Mine have been used for well over a year and no damage or discoloration has taken place. The top of the oven is another story. Don’t put anything on top or too close to the sides or back. 3” or 4” is sufficient spacing. You will love the oven. We were 1/4 thru baking an item before our oven fully preheated the other day.

- Answer Yes. There is a timer I usually just choose my own temp and set my own time. When times up, oven shuts off.

- Answer The oven can sit on the counter below the upper cabinets. That is assuming that you have a standard between the countertop and upper cabinet. I have mine placed in an appliance shelf with a little room for clearance. The oven does not required a separate circuit breaker.

- Answer Short answer - no. Stainless steel racks. Enamel coated pan and sidewalks. Easy clean surfaces. So far have not found a problem cleaning. Recommend coating pan with cooking spray prior to use. Easy cleanup afterwards.

- Answer The answer to this question will vary depending on the food item and the same rules apply to this oven as with a conventional size oven. Cooking frozen foods can be tricky if there are no instructions as foods can cook on the outside too quickly and burn if the temperature is too high. For packaged items I usually follow the directions with the exception of reducing the temperature setting by 5 to 10 degrees if I am using the convection option. The reason for this is the convection feature distributes heat more evenly in the oven helping food cook more evenly and often a little more quickly. For foods that aren't pre-packaged and have no instructions for cooking or re-heating, I would recommend setting the oven to 350 degrees with the convection option turned on and simply check the food every 5 to 10 minutes.

- Answer The 17.2 inch measurement includes the door. The actual cabinet less the handle and knobs projecting outward in the front is about 15 inches. From the front of the foreward leg/foot to the back of the rear leg/foot that actually rest on the counter surface is about 11 3/4 inches.
