It is located at the very top of the unit, centered right above the smooth slanted front. It's covered by a metal plate held by three screws. The directions tell you to convert the unit to ductless by unscrewing the screws and taking off the plate, but if you don't read closely, you can easily miss it. I didn't notice it until after I had installed the fan.
