• A:Answer Thank you for your question on model BCSQ130SS. This unit is designed to be hard wired into your home and does not include a cord. However, this is compatible with the HCK44 cord kit (sold separately) if you need to convert the unit for a plug in application.

Q: QuestionIs this unit also Ductless and if so were is the exhaust for the air to escape. See no pic of that place.

• A:Answer It is located at the very top of the unit, centered right above the smooth slanted front. It's covered by a metal plate held by three screws. The directions tell you to convert the unit to ductless by unscrewing the screws and taking off the plate, but if you don't read closely, you can easily miss it. I didn't notice it until after I had installed the fan.

Q: QuestionIs the: Broan - Glacier 30" Convertible Range Hood - Stainless steel Model:BCSQ130SS SKU:6361520 Wall mount or under cabinet? The specs section of the page states "Wall" but the installation manual only shows "under cabinet" Which is it?

• A:Answer I think I can answer your question, as my just purchased and installed the Broan BSCQ130SS model. It is a cabinet range hood which can be vented (wherein ductwork to the outside used) horizontally from the back through an outside wall of your house, or vertically through the top and inside the upper cabinet of your kitchen then up through the roof; It can also be converted to a ductless range hood (wherein ductwork to the outside is not used) wherein it recirculates air back into the kitchen. I used the vertical option because that's the type I replaced and the ductwork through the roof was already in place.
