“If I want to scan something smaller than 8.5 x 11, will I have a white border around it? Or will it show the exact size of the picture?”

• The Brother DS-620 mobile scanner will scan with the exact size of the document if “Auto” is configured as the paper size setting. If “Auto” is not used as the paper size setting, and a size such as “Letter” is configured, then the document will be smaller in size and a black background would appear around the scanned data.

• You can scan very small pieces, like a drivers licence for example. I use that scanner for very long pieces with no problems.
