Can it be used with a cellphone? Yes. It uses a private Wi-Fi connection to transfer the documents. For iOS, you have to use an app to access the SD card in the scanner. So you scan a doc, it's stored on the SD card. Then to get it on your phone, you'll need to connect to the scanner's Wi-Fi, and you then use an App to access the SD card and transfer the document(s).
