QuestionThe name of the scanner implies it’s duplex. But the specs say it doesn’t have a duplex function. So is it duplex or not?

- Answer It is in fact Duplex. You feed the document through once, for instance a business card, and both sides are quickly captured on a single pass. Nice not being prompted to feed the document through a second time to capture the other side, the product just works. Voila. Have had my Brother 920 DW for three weeks now. Like the portability/mobility and form factor. The only downside is the installation of drivers and perhaps quality of third party software. Good luck!

QuestionI am looking for a scanner that will send scanned documents direct to an email address. I had a bad experience with an Epson portable scanner - software had to be downloaded to a desktop ( not possible on mobile devices, i.e. tablet or iPad ) .

- Answer Still getting used t it but I have scanned and been able to access the scan from my computer and my phone, without any software at all. Having the ability to scan directly to a PDF is great too. I'm happy with the purchase. Especially doesn't hurt that it has such a small footprint and is mobile.

- Answer Yes you can. You can scan to a microUSB card at any time, and access via USB direct cable connection to your computer, or you can make the scanner a wifi access point and connect wirelessly.
