• Yes it works without a CD drive... wireless. It works with Windows 10. And you you can choose the file name.

• It does need a CD drive to be installed, we ended up purchasing an external CD/DVD drive and it works nicely with it. It is compatible with Windows 10 and you can name your files whatever you'd like.
