No, is not necessary to replace the drum using your Brother HLL2370DW machine if the toner needs to be replaced. The machine will display a replace drum message at the moment that a new drum is needed.

Please try again later.If you use a high capacity toner cartridge (~2.400 pages as well), then yes, it makes sense to replace them together, otherwise, with a normal capacity cartridge (~1,200 pages) the drum can survive a couple of cartridges. If your printing is simple (say, just plain text, nothing of high contrast, etc.) then the drum can live longer, and can handle more than one or two cartridges.
