“Do you need to leave space in back of the printer or can it be placed about 2-3 inches from a wall?”

• Ours is 1 inch from back wall. Printer works fine, but it is very slow compared to B&W Brother printer

• I have it far enough away from the wall to accommodate the plug.

• The power cord goes into the back near the bottom so you can’t butt it right up to the wall, but it doesn’t stick out too far (in my case no further than the front of my desk, which is not very big)

• You will need a small space on the back side so you can lift the scanner lid and the power cord is on the back. Otherwise, it is fine to put the back against the wall.

• Mine is about 3 inches from the wall and is fine. Everything is accessed from the front.
