A:Answer Yes, this printer has the ability to scan from an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) in duplex, as well as scan using a flatbed. Let say for example, you want to scan 10 double-sided documents using the ADF, and then add to the final scan 3 individual page located in a magazine. Load the 10 double-sided documents into the ADF and select Scan. Once done, scan the 3 pages one by one using the flatbed scanner. Once all your scanning is done, tell the app to save the resulting document (I'm assuming a PDF document) to your desktop (or some other device). It works great! Further, the duplex scanning ability using the ADF has been a major time-saver for me.
