The regular filled toner will cost about $60 (Brother Brand Toner) and print 2500 pages. That's about 2 cents per page for black and white. If you do color its about 10 cents per page. Remember that you can purchase third party toner with a higher capacity at a lower cost, but you will lose some quality in color prints.

Please try again later.It is more expensive for the laser with each refill you buy BUT in the long term you'll end up buying more inkjet cartridges than you will color toner cartridges so the long term cost is lower for the laser. Too, if not used often the inkjet cartridges will clog over time...the toner will not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have always owned inkjet printers in the past. I recently purchased the 9130 laserjet. The cartridges are more expensive initially but are way more cost effective in the long run! 5x more prints per cartridge. And better prints too!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No comparison. Laser cartridges are usually 2000+ pages where ink cartridges are maybe 500. Long term cost...laser beats ink... In my humble opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.laser costs more up front but in the long run its cheaper. For $50 bucks you get about double the printing and the laser does not dry out. But inkjet does a better job on color photos so have Walgreens print your photos.
