• LC20E is an off brand cartridge. It is apparently compatible with some MFC-J printers, but not the J1010DW. Stick with LC401.

• The Brother MFCJ1010DW is not compatible with the LC20E ink cartridges. This model uses only the LC401 ink cartridges.

• The inks come with the initial item. I have not replaced them yet, so have not researched that yet.
