Yes, this Brother printer does come with an a printer cartridge. As many companies now do, the included cartridge is only half the load of a replacement cartridge. I do like the cartridge design and it is easy to insert and to remove.

Yes, the Brother MFCL2710DW comes included with (1) Starter Toner Cartridge (yields approx. 700 pages‡), (1) DR630 Drum Unit (yields approx. 12,000 pages‡).

The included toner yields about 700 images before you get the message that toner is low, I left mine in and got another 300 images before it actually made me change the toner. If you use it a lot definitely order another toner cartridge when you order the machine.
