“Will the automatic document feeder handle magazine pages when trying to scan? I have many recipes from cooking magazines that I want to scan and am trying to understand if I will have to manually scan one-by-one on the flatbed or use the doc feeder.”

• You can use the document feeder, but it has limits on how many you can feed through it. I think it is about 25 pages.
