“I often need to scan 20 pages to send as one PDF file. How large are the PDF files once scanned? My current machine makes file sizes so huge I cannot send them in an e mail.”

• Docs are scanned to the default resolution, which I think is 150dpi. I regularly scan 20+ page docs and can email with no problems. Suggest you go in settings of your current machine and reduce dpi to 150 (to try). Problem likely will be fixed.

• The size of the scanned documents depend on factors such as color type, resolution and document complexity. However, the Brother iPrint&Scan software included with Brother MFC-L2710DW allows you to reduce the size of the PDF file.
