- Answer I use this printer on a MacBook Pro and a work windows Dell laptop. I didn’t load any additional software on either computer to use. AirPrint works great from my iPhone, again no additional software installed I suspect you can go to Brothers website and download the additional software if you wanted Good luck and happy printing
