- Answer The Brother MFCL2710DW doe not require a computer in order to send or receive faxes. You can use this machine as a standalone fax machine.

QuestionDoes this printer auto detect paper size when scanning? I recently had a loan closing package with both letter and legal sized paper and could not find that option. I had to scan letter then legal separately. Very disappointed to not have this function
