• Yes it can. It’s just slightly larger than the Pro 7 so you will see some overhang. The hinges will hold the Pro 7.

• It will work, but the thickness of the '7' will be loose in the hinge pads. So don't expect to walk around with it and have it securely held by the hinges. Functionally yes.
