• No, I believe you do need the mini. There may be an app for the bulbs themselves but I do not know for sure.

• Lysy, you won't be able to control our bulbs through the Nest app. If you're only wanting to purchase the bulbs though, they'll connect directly to your phone via Bluetooth!
