• It's a light bulb. It will be fine. And whatever color you had it set to last will be the color that your lamp is when you turn it on

• The recommended way would be to keep the lamp turned on. You will be able to turn them on/off from our app. It's best to keep them this way so that the bulbs don't disconnect from the app.
