Hi there! Our switches will work with ceiling fans as regular on/off switches if you set them to non-dimmable bulb mode. However, since most ceiling fans come equipped with a variable-speed fan motor, using a dimmer switch to control the fan speed will damage the motor. You will want to use a variable-speed fan switch or remote if you wish to control the fan speed. - C by GE Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Just make sure you set it up in a separate room inside the GE app. If you don't create separate rooms when you turn on or off the lights it will also activate the fan if you are trying to use separate smart switches for each.
