• I suppose you can install it wjerever you want but i have heard that you may void the warranty if it is not installed as intended.

• No, this microwave is for installation over ranges up to 36" wide. Café branded over-the-range microwaves should only be installed over Café branded ranges. Installation over any other range may result in surface temperatures that can cause burns.
