Q: Questioncafe-1-7-cu-ft-convection-over-the-range-micro. Will this effectively vent and exhaust smoke and fumes when I am cooking on my oven / stove top, if installed directly above the stove or does it only exhaust smoke and fumes from within the unit itself?

Q: QuestionCan this be used as a countertop?

• A:Answer Hello - Over-the-range microwaves cannot be used on a countertop or shelf. The underside is not flat and would not provide a stable surface. Q: QuestionCan this run as convection oven cooking only, or just in combination with microwave cooking?

Q: QuestionWhat is the width of the microwave with the door open? Most microwaves need extra space or they cannot be mounted flush with face of cabinets

The overall width of the microwave is 29.875 inches, and from the door hinge side to the adjacent wall there should be a minimum distance of ½”. If your space allows for that, there shouldn’t be an issue with installing the microwave. Q: QuestionDoes this model come with the handle or is that a separate purchase? Also, if this microwave is installed as a non-vented exhaust, do you need to purchase a charcoal filter separately (WB06X10807)?

• A:Answer Hello. Thanks for reaching out! This model comes with the handle. It also comes with the Recirculating Charcoal Filter Kit model WB02X35607. If the unit is not vented to the outside, the air will be recirculated through a disposable charcoal filter that helps remove smoke and odors. The charcoal filter should be replaced when it is noticeably dirty or discolored usually after 6 to 12 months, depending on usage. Additionally, there can be a heat issue, especially if the vent fan or surface lights were accidentally turned on. This unit offers a recirculation (Non-Vented Ductless) option and exhaust options. We recommend you review the "Installation Types" section on pg.11 of the Installation Instructions.

Q: QuestionWhat is the location of the vent for external air flow? What size rectangle to circular connector is needed? I want to see if this fits my current cabinet dimensions/hole sizes

• A:Answer The hood exhaust has been designed to mate with a standard 3-1/4” x 10” rectangular duct. If a round duct is required, a rectangular-to-round transition adaptor must be used. Do not use less than a 6” diameter duct. -- The vent location will be either on top or at the back depending on which type of outside ventilation it is installed for. We recommend checking out the Installation Types section starting on page 11 of the Installation Instructions. The Installation Instructions can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the Best Buy product page.

Q: QuestionWhat is the weird copper looking piece on the handle. Can you get a stainless steel handle without that? It ruins the look of the stainless steel.
