Hello there, thank you for taking the time to reach out with this excellent question. The height to the top of the hinge is 69.75 in and the height to the back of the case is 68.625 in. However, we also require an inch of air clearance from the top of the hinge. We hope this clears things up for you! -Elliot@Cafe
