The two ports on the bottom are INTAKE not exhaust. Our unit is not externally vented so the exhaust comes out over the top of the unit ( under the cabinet that it is mounted on ).

I have attached a few pictures showing the model number inside the microwave and the left exhaust filter under the microwave. The one on the right is exactly the same. Have good one!

We are happy to let you know that this model does have an upfront charcoal filter with an indicator light that lets you know when to change it.
