Q: QuestionThe interior dimensions of frame opening (22.8 X 12.3) are much larger than the microwave dimensions (21 3/4 X 13) . Can someone explain why it is so? I need this answered before I can make a buy decision on these two pieces - SKU 6338134 and this trim.

This is normal and helps with air flow, among other reasons. • A:Answer Hi there! Thanks for asking. Currently, we do not offer countertop/built in models in our Café line. Therefore, we do not have any models that would accept this trim kit as it is model specific. Our GE line offers some countertop/built in and built in models with their own trim kits if you'd like to take a look. The trim kits can be seen in each model's Specs & Details section.
