Hi, Thanks for asking! We appreciate the interest in this Electric Cooktop and we'd be happy to assist you. We determined that this specific model is Radiant Glass and not Induction. With this style cooktop, it is recommended that you use Stainless Steel or Copper Bottom cookware. Avoid using Cast Iron, Stoneware or Glass-Ceramic pots and pans as this may scratch the surface.
