“HOW LONG does it take to burn off the oven chemicals on the new oven heating elements? Please give suggestions on what number to put the oven on and how much time i need to burn the smell off before using the new oven to cook with.”

Hey there, We can absolutely understand how unpleasant that new oven smell is. The smoke or odor should dissipate after the first few uses. If you want to get rid of the odor quicker, then consider the following tips: Self Clean Oven: We recommend running the Self Clean cycle for a minimum of 3 hours. Important: The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the Self Clean cycle of any oven. We recommend birds be moved to another, well-ventilated room when running the Self Clean cycle. Steam Clean or Standard Clean Oven: We recommend running the oven on Bake at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour and then running the Hi Broil for 45 minutes. We hope this is helpful.
