- Answer While not designed for this purpose, it is possible to turn off the grinder, not put any coffee in the machine, and “brew” small or large amounts of hot water through the standard brewing process, ending with the desired hot water.

QuestionI just bought this coffee maker and it immediately has a slow but persistent leak from the water reservoir. Is there a missing seal possibly or any other idea. The coffee it’s producing is wonderful but I have to keep a towel on the base to collect water.
