It goes off at 5:30 a.m. (which I set it for when I bought it) every morning when I remember to set it up before going to bed. The answer is.....YES!

Yes it does. One button to set the time and the same button activates the timer. Easy to set time. The button lights up when the timer is activated. Caution though, there is another version at another store that does not have the timer function.

Yes it does. It said that it has permanent filter, it does not. It requires paper filter.
