A:Answer#4 cone style paper filters come with. Tried two different permanent filters from previous units. Neither seated properly to allow the filter holder to close.

A:AnswerThe brewed coffee is hot. I myself do not have gauge to measure the degree of coffee. More you let the full pot of coffee set it will get hotter. This is what I experienced my self. I had a Mr. Coffee 4 cup and temperature was like hot. But once you put creamer in it I had to nuke it in microwave. After 3 hours it does shut off. Which this was my major concern for this new Calphalon 10 cup . I am still satisfied.
