• you must assemble,very easy just stick on the heatsink and put it in the case, direction book was easy to follow..about 5 min to put toghther.

• The most relevant things are done for you, like installing the operating system on the SD card. I haven't purchased this product, but have experience with canakit. Worst case scenario, the Pi won't be in the plastic case (technically optional, highly recommended). It takes about 4 screws (they will be included), pop the lid on and you are done. The SD slot will be easily accessible. The Heat sinks are not installed. But I would hold off on installing them until you think you need them, as you may use them ineffectively.
