• Yes, there is a clip on the cover to accommodate a fan. It may be a non-standard size. CanaKit sells fans that will work.

• Yes. The kit version I bought came with a small cooling fan that fits inside the case directly above the CPU, so it blows down directly onto the small heatsink that you mount on top of the CPU. However, the cute "raspberry" that is outlined by holes in the top of the case doesn't expose the entire top of the fan. So if you want better airflow, you probably want to use a drill to add more holes (and therefore wreck the "raspberry" pattern in the top of the case). I'm planning on doing that since when I'm not actually doing something useful with the RPi, I have it running BOINC which analyzes SETI data...a very CPU intensive task that heats up the CPU.
