This kit is just awesome and so useful for hundreds of tasks! I'm currently using mine in a Mortal Kombat Arcade1up cabinet so I could convert it to an Emulation Station. I have another in my room as just a media player and PC I can use paired with a logitech wireless keyboard with built in track pad (also sold at BestBuy).

I got this to act as a mobile display unit to attach to the back of a 55" television at a comic convention. Works great, small and compact, and can be powered from the USB port on most flat panel televisions.
This is a kit, but even if you don't have a tech background, the instructions are easy to follow. My ten year old nephew put it together without any help from me.

Other than a display and a keyboard, it had everything I needed to get it up and running almost right away to start experimenting. Especially nice is the extra on/off switch that can be included inline with the USB-C power cable. Easy to assemble, and works great as a stand-alone computer and because it's designed to be used as an educational tool, it's great for tinkering and all sorts of projects. I'm currently using this to run my smart home and it's doing a fantastic job. I've added a GPS hat to use it as an NTP server and a couple of USB controllers to facilitate communications with my home automation networks, which, of course, are not included. I replaced the operating system on the included SD card with openhabian. I've had few problems and any problem I have encountered were because of software that weren't part of the original kit so I can't really complain.

This kit is great! I used it for a new Retro Pie setup and it works flawlessly. It comes with a fan and heat sinks so you can do overclocking. It comes with an SD card pre-loaded with all the available Operating Systems. Was a great value as well!

Great pi kit! Quick, easy and everything you need minus the monitor to get going. The little fan addition is great for in the case as well.

This is a Raspberry Pi 4 - Model B w/4GB Memory. Obviously it also includes a full kit of everything needed to get started, including a case, fan, heatsinks, power supply, and 32GB SD card. Canakit has been reliably making quality all-in-one kits for awhile now, so you know you’re getting everything you need.
I needed a new RPi quickly and luckily my local Best Buy had one in stock. Made it super convenient since I didn’t have to wait for one to arrive from Amazon.

Nice and easy to setup. Took about 10 minutes and then another 20-30 to install/setup the included software. I purchased this to run HomeBridge which makes different smart-home devices compatible with HomeKit. I also use it as a media server for my Roku's and Apple TV
This is the size of about 2 decks of cards stacked on top of each other. Is capable of 2 monitors (only USBC-HDMI is included)
This has plenty of power for what I had planned for it but it wouldn't be adequate as a workstation replacement

This is not a review of the Pi 4 itself, rather it is about this kit. If you just want a complete Pi 4 kit to get started without the hassle of buying the parts separately, I will look further. This kit is from a reliable source and has everything you need to get started at a reasonable price. It is a good gift for a tech savvy person too! If you are a knowledgeable person you can buy the Pi 4 alone and get the remaining parts from somewhere else and save some money on the way.

I bought this mostly for a arcade emulator. Is my first using this type of mini computer. I haven't done much with it other than play old school arcade games which does very well. Reading online shows the many things you can do with it. Would recommend to anyone wanting to experiment with mini computers. Has everything you need but a monitor and mouse and keyboard.

These make great learning machines, I have several running in a cluster and have learned so much about docker and how to install packages and learning the concepts of server admin with hands on experience without the extra cost and heat of a cluster of real full-sized computers. This kit gives you everything you need to connect and use as a single computer also, great for anyone wanting to learn linux also.

I've been using this to run Debian to execute CRON jobs in my home network - no complaints so far, although what I am doing with it is quite mundane. I ended up picking up a few extra SD cards and have tried a few of the different default software options - and it really is a fairly capable little machine that is fun to put together and use.

Great little computer! Lots of functionality at a very low cost, and it doesn't take up much space. It's the size of 2 decks of cards stacked on top of each other. It even comes with all of the cables. Just be aware that it's a do-it-yourself kit, which can be added fun for you. . . or someone else.

Boredom me looking at these little computers again having a circa 2014 or so model. These boards are so much more powerful and I can run Ubuntu on this one just like on my laptop where you can’t do that on a first generation B+. These things are hours of fun and great learning tools. I’ll buy another most likely.

I picked up this kit to play around with a linux box since I recently took a job as a linux admin. Initially I was a bit disappointed with it, it was not as fast as I expected, it couldn't play YouTube videos at any quality, had issues with slow mouse response, etc. However, there were recent updates to the OS that seemed to fix all of those issues (with the exception of the mouse which was a config file issue).
It is a great little computer to try to learn different operating systems - being able to have multiple SDs cards loaded and easily swapping them out is very handy. Its also been fun to play around with setting it up as a web server, Retropie gaming station, personal server for Final Fantasy XI, and using it for practicing programming with python, ansible, and others.
With just a few limitations I could see even using this as a dedicated desktop computer - not bad for ~$100.
