QuestionI have had ink cartridges dry out with little use. Since this is powder, does it not have that problem so that I would get longer life of cartridges?

- Answer I have never had any issues with toner on any laser printer I have owned going back 25 years. I don't print a lot so there is often a long time between prints. I had my last printer 10 years before I ran low on toner and it printed just as well after 10 years as it did when I got it.

- Answer No, it will not. As I know laser printers cannot printer borderless. Only inkjet printers can.

- Answer Not sure what you mean by face up. If you mean does the printing appear on the top surface of the paper in the tray, the answer is yes. If this does not answer your question, you need to explain what you mean by face up.

QuestionAccording to Best Buy's product page, this printer comes with the low-yield toner set, not some starter set as others have indicated. If true, wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy another printer rather than buy the low-yield replacement toners?

- Answer Printer comes with following set of 4 starter cartridges as per specs and not hi-capacity cartridges. Cartridge 046 CMY Starter 1,200 Yield Cartridge 046 K Standard 2,300 Yield The cost of 4 basic cartridge 046 Black, CMY is more than $350 on best buy site. Hence it is cheaper to buy this new printer that comes with the cartridges! The cost of Hi-Capacity Cartridge 046 is $20 more for each,, ie total would be more around $450.
