Yes, the 35 mm f2 IS lens, is compatible with the eos 77d. I use this lens on a 70d (cropped sensor) and R (full frame sensor). It works like a dream on both. Keep in mind that due to the APS-C sensor of the 77d, that you will be getting a 1.5 to 1.6x crop factor with this lens. I don't mind the crop factor when using this lens with the 70d and I actually find that it seems to be the sweet spot.
