Q: QuestionMaybe I need to be more specific. I want a lens that will not distort walls and perspective for real estate photography, Will this one do that?

• A:Answer For real estate photography, a better lens choice would be the 10-22mm EF-S Canon ( for aps-c Canon cameras ) or the 16-35mm EF Canon ( for full frame Canon camera ). A tripod and Adobe Lightroom are also recommended. I've included a real estate picture I took using the 16-35mm, a Canon 6D, tripod and Lightroom.

• A:Answer IT SHOULD. BUT TO MAKE SURE LOOK AT THE FRONT OF YOUR CAMERA IF YOU SEE A RED DOT AND A WHITE SQUARE LINE UP THE LENS RED DOT WITH THE CAMERA RED DOT AND TURN CLOCKWISE.

• A:Answer Yes. It is an EF Mount and the T series is an EF-S, so there is a multiplier involved. On the T’s it will be an effective mm greater by 1.4, so more like a 50mm

• A:Answer Yes, the 35 mm f2 IS lens, is compatible with the eos 77d. I use this lens on a 70d (cropped sensor) and R (full frame sensor). It works like a dream on both. Keep in mind that due to the APS-C sensor of the 77d, that you will be getting a 1.5 to 1.6x crop factor with this lens. I don't mind the crop factor when using this lens with the 70d and I actually find that it seems to be the sweet spot.

• A:Answer It goes down to f2. Good low light lens. The IS is great. It’s a switch that you turn on near the autofocus switch. EF mount sonit should work with a t6.

• A:Answer Actually I think this lens is perfectly suited for the purpose. It's wide enough to capture full room panoramas AND exteriors with very sharp detail while not breaking the bank. So you can stitch together interior '3D' walkthroughs which are popular in real estate these days and wide enough exteriors to capture sprawling properties WITHOUT having to stitch together multiple images there. Even though this is a 2.0 f stop lens, the sharpness is more like a 1.4 and it's not so wide where you have anything more than very minor distortion. I've only had this lens a few weeks and it's not only become my true 'prime' lens, but my go-to for everything from landscape to studio/portrait work. I own less and more expensive lenses but i can honestly go on record by stating this was the best 'bang for the buck' purchase I've made. And as an added benefit, it's a great lens for capturing video. The AF is quick and quiet enough to shoot video like a dedicated lens... Happy shooting!
