This is Full frames, about 35% truer field of image capture. On the 70D or any other APS-C sensors it's like multiplying the lens by 1.6 X the focal length. This is true to 35 MM standards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 70D is a crop sensor camera with 20.2 MP and a DIGIC 5+ processor. The 6D is a full frame sensor camera with 20.2 MP and a DIGIC 5+ processor. The 70D seems to shoot more frames per second on photos than the 6D, but I think these two cameras are very similar - with the exception being the sensor of course. If you consider going full frame an upgrade, then it's probably an upgrade.

I use my cameras for my business prodigitalimpressions.com If you are a hobbyist then stick with the 70D but if you want to step your game up and take professional quality pictures the 6D is the way to go.
