• The Canon 80D uses SD cards. A "Speed Class 10" is recommended, especially if you ever shoot movies. Faster cards will work but will waste money. The camera is limited in how fast it can write. Faster cards will read and write at the slower camera speed. You may use any capacity SD card. There is no upper limit on the size. SDXC of 512 GB are available, and theoretically, can go up to 2 TB.
