• Yes it is. The STM (or stabilization) can be truned on or off on the lens as well as the auto focus (af/mf on lens), there is also a focal length lock on the lens, so say you're pointing straight down at your subject, gravity isn't going to pull your lens forward. It's a good lens :) I have this kit.
