• Yes Beth to both questions, set the camera up in M use the dial to adjust the shutter speed and you can watch the picture come into view as you turn the dial when it looks good take the picture. It's best to use a tripod for low light as the shutter speed will be slow allowing for camera shake and loss of focus.
