• It is smaller and lighter than the T4i, but the T4i has an articulating screen which would be extremely handy in many circumstances - especially shooting video.

• The canon sl1 has all the features of the t4i. the only difference is the size has been cut down .. It is very managable and not near as bulky . I love the sl1 and have had it a little over a year
