Connectivity simply means that you can connect it to a computer via a cable. Yes, you will need to purchase an SD card to store pics on. It has no on-board memory of it's own but this is typical of most all digital cameras.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.connect the camera to your computer via provided software and transfer your photos to the computer, which I don't do, I take the SD card out and plug it in the computer. And yes, you need to buy a SD card, the camera has no internal memory.
