I don't remember the exact number, but I looked it up before buying an SD card and it was somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000. I'm guessing that it was around 3,600. Certainly more than enough for most photo outings, but if you're going on an extended vacation, buy a second card for overflow - they're cheap enough. Worst case it's a backup if something happens to the first card.

If you set to Raw files, then a 32gbs memory could contain around 1000 pictures.
