“Does the zoom lense have IS. If not do you need to use a tripod. I'm going to Africa and want to take action shots of animals”

• Yes, both lenses come with a "Stabilizer" switch, but I'm not sure why anyone would intentionally turn them off. However, that does not eliminate the need for a tripod in low light or high zoom on (virtually?) any camera. -- M --

• Yes, it has IS but i would recommend to use tripod if you could to takes pictures of moving animals.
