deffinately T6i is the best choice. much better quality - I'm sure like me you want the best picture possible, therefore Cannon T6i
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A t6i will give you superior quality and options to make the photos unbelievably clear. However, sometimes getting the perfect shot will take a second or two when adjusting the focus and shutter speed. For a safari time may be of the essence, point and shoots allow you to literally point and shoot and get decent results without adjusting any settings with the auto-detect or automatic mode. Downside to point and shoot is that you will really only be able to "take" your shots rather than "make" your shots. So there are upsides to both, but if you are looking to get into the world of DSLR cameras, you should study up on aperture, shutter speed, white balance and usage of lens filters.
