I know this question is old but in case you are still looking or wondering... Dont base it on price. Just because one is more expensive does not mean it is better. Looks for the one that has the most features you are interested in. I would suggest making a list from 1 to 10 (1 being more important, 10 least important) and whats in your budget. I was in the same boat as you and went with the T6i over the 70D because it fit my budget and had all the features i was looking for. Google canon t6i vs 70d and look at the results. They will list the advantages of one model over the other and common strengths.
