- Answer It is very simple. You press, Scan, and then where you want to scan to. I usually insert and choose an usb flash drive. Then whether you want a color or black/white scan. Very simple

QuestionI have a Mac desktop and don't want to use wireless. How do I set up this printer to print with a wire/cord. No cord came in the box to connect to the printer. Instructions not helpful HELP. Otherwise it is a big piece of plastic taking up desk space :)

- Answer I wondered the same thing and read on a help post they don’t provide a cord because they assume people will have one already (from replacing a printer). I don’t know much about a Mac but I would have to buy a USB cord, but I use wireless.

QuestionHelp. I can't get the bypass feeder to work. I should be able to feed a sheet of paper into the feeder and the next print job use that sheet. Instead, the feeder accepts the paper, but still feeds from the drawer.

QuestionAnyone know I can't print single sheet? I'm trying to print labels. The single sheet drawer sucks up the paper, but prints from the main drawer. So far, this printer is more trouble than its worth. :(

- Answer Yes, it comes with all toners pre-loaded. However, they are sample size and not the full size... so they won't last as much as the regular (full) size but they are fine for me as I don't print much. Unlike ink cartridges, laser toners are not affected much by time

- Answer It probably will, however, I NEVER recommend feeding a sheet of labels thru a printer. Over the years, I have had too many problems with a label coming off inside the printer in a place that is hard to impossible to fish out. It can ruin a printer. Also, this is laser technology, so the paper path includes a heat roller. Labels MUST be designed for laser printers. I would recommend that you consider a Dymo label printer. They are cheap, reliable and fast! You can even use them to print stamps.

- Answer Yes, I just now printed on card stock. I’m using the Canon Imageclass MF642cdw. You have to put the cardstock in the manual feed slot on the front of the printer. The image looks great on the card stock!

- Answer This printer does not print 11 x 17. It does come with an adapter for the 8 1/2 x 11 tray to fit 8 1/2 x 14 legal paper.
