• it's just under 19 inches deep, but add a couple for power and any other cables you might attach to the back (USB or Network).

• Actually, you'll need more than just a couple inches in the back of the printer. Minimum by spec is 9.875 inches to allow for rear door access to toner cartridges. And you'll need easy access to the front in order to load paper. So footprint is more like 19 inches plus 10 in back and 10 in front and 4 inches on sides.
